Public Health Practice Award for Community Preceptors

This award recognizes Community Preceptors who have shown commitment to the school and the advancement of public health practice through the hosting of student practical experiences (practicum and CBMP), teaching and mentoring of students, overall partnership with to DSPH to improve the health status or our communities.

Public Health Practice Award for Faculty and Students

This award recognizes faculty or students who have demonstrated through either research/scholarship, teaching, and mentorship of students, commitment to the practice of public health and the improvement of health.

Staff Excellence

Graduate College Awards

These awards recognize Drexel's high performing graduate students and their commitment to the University's mission. The Graduate College appoints a Graduate Student Excellence Awards Committee to review the College/School finalists and select awardees bsaed on the recommendation of each College/School. Students will be recognized at Graduate Student Day on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 4:00-6:00 PM in Mitchell Auditorium and, in some cases, at their College/School Commencement ceremonies.

Research Excellence Awards

Research Excellence Awards are presented to graduate students who have completed original, innovative research, scholarship and/or creativity during their career at Drexel.

Outstanding Mentorship Awards

In partnership with the Office of Undergraduate Research, the Outstanding Mentorship Awards are presented to graduate students for exemplary mentoring of undergraduate and/or new or junior graduate students, which has had a demonstrated impact on the academic and/or professional development of a mentee or mentees.

The Outstanding Dissertation Awards are presented to PhD/doctoral students who have written original, innovative dissertations that reflect great research and have or are likely to be disseminated widely and have significant impact on the field and society.

Teaching Assistant Excellence Awards

Teaching Assistant Excellence Awards are presented to graduate students who serve as Teaching Assistants (TAs) and who exhibit exemplary commitment to student learning, reflective teaching practices, innovative teaching methods, leadership and a commitment to their professional growth and development as a teacher.
