Accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH)
The Dornsife School of Public Health was the first school of public health in Philadelphia to be accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH).
CEPH is an independent agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit schools of public health and public health programs.
CEPH accreditation ensures a quality curriculum and a state-of-the art education. By attending an accredited school or program of public health, students benefit from the broad range of educational and experiential opportunities.
The Dornsife School of Public Health has been fully and continuously accredited by CEPH since 2007. The School was most recently reaccredited in 2022 for another 7 years (through 2029).

Drexel University's Dornsife School of Public Health is ranked the #1 school of public health in Philadelphia according to the US News and World Report 2024 rankings of the nation’s best graduate schools.
Nationwide, the school is ranked #18 out of 213 schools and programs of public health throughout the United States.
Top 100 U.S. Universities
According to U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 “U.S. News Best Colleges,” Drexel University is a top 100 school, ranking at 86th out of 436 universities and 43rd among private universities.
