1970s
James R Piotrowski `78 (Hahnemann PA program) lives in New Smyrna Beach, Florida and has practiced in neurosurgery for the last 30 years. He would like to hear from the other members of the Class of 78.
1980s
Peter Berge `82 JD, MPA, PA-C Emeritus, lives in Mexico City, Mexico. Berge began practice as a consultant and educator for medico-legal issues and reducing medical malpractice risk. He continues to teach at Pace University PA program (medico-legal curriculum).
Christine Leahy Keenan AS `83 works for the Western Connecticut Medical Group in risk management.
Debra Mandelblatt `84 lives and works in Portland, Oregon.
1990s
Laura Braslow `92 lives in Quakertown and works in urgent care for the Lehigh Valley health system.
Peter Dixon `92 lives in Vermont and retired from the otolaryngology section at Dartmouth Hitchcock after 25 years in August 2017. He is enjoying retirement and plans to volunteer at the new palliative care center at Dartmouth.
James Eckert `92 lives in NYC and works at Mt. Sinai Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery in New York City.
2000s
Samuel Green `00 was elected to the Lenape Regional High School District (LRHSD) Board of Education as the Shamong, NJ representative. Green has been a nationally certified physician assistant for more than 18 years and has worked with the Regional Orthopedic Professional Association in Cherry Hill and Washington Township for nearly 11 years.
Tara J. Bugbee, DO, MS `05, an emergency medicine physician at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital, recently received board certification from the American Osteopathic Association Board of Emergency Medicine.
Rick Irving MHS `06 was appointed corporate director of Collaborative Care at Cape Fear Valley Health. In his new duties, Irving will oversee patient movement throughout their continuum of care at Cape Fear Valley, help manage clinical support for health system hospitalists and manage patient care in a new Transition of Care Services Unit.
Alexandra Garzone Parrish `12 is working at the University of Pennsylvania in the hepatology department. She was married in 2016 and welcomed her son Theodore on November 29, 2018.
Staci Hoops `12 works at Penn Presbyterian in gastroenterology. She welcomed her second daughter, Jocelyn Elaine Hoops on January 4, 2019. Big sister Joelle (four yrs) is thrilled as is the entire family.
Kimberly Kavanagh, PA-C `13 joined the medical team at Mount Nittany Physician Group Internal Medicine.
Ijeoma Francisca Nwosu `14 works in the Washington, DC area in dermatology.
Alana Merkow ’19, a clinical year student in the PA program had an article published in the Journal of Substance Abuse Treatment this month. The article entitled "Barriers and facilitators of hepatitis C treatment uptake among people who inject drugs enrolled in opioid treatment programs in Baltimore."
