Details:
This session explores how scientific communication works inside a pharmaceutical company and how changes in technology and AI are reshaping the way scientific evidence is found, translated, and delivered. Students will get a practical look at how technical and scientific knowledge becomes real-world content for healthcare professionals, patients, and internal teams. The talk will also highlight where students can contribute to the design of AI-enabled content systems, workflows, and tools.

Session Goals
• Understand what scientific communications does in a pharmaceutical company, why it matters, and where it intersects with medicine, data, and AI.
• See how scientific communicators translate complex evidence into clear, accurate, and compliant content for different audiences.
• Learn the difference between publications, field materials, congress content, and other scientific assets—and how each is used.
• Explore how AI is changing the workflow, from finding evidence to drafting, adapting, and improving content.
• Leave with a practical view of career paths and technical opportunities for students in this space.
