Become More Resilient

The Graduate College and Office of Postdoctoral Affairs and Professional Development invite graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to participate in a virtual resilience and professional skills training program in collaboration with the NIH Office of Intramural Training and Education. This program is sponsored by the NIH/NIGMS Division of Training, Workforce Development, and Diversity.

The goal of this virtual series is to help you develop the resilience you need to navigate challenging situations in graduate school, career, and everyday life.

How to Participate

Register for one or more of the six free webinars hosted by the NIH. Webinar dates, descriptions, and links to register are available on the Graduate College website. You may view the webinars live or view the recordings prior to the subsequent small group discussion. Advanced registration is required to access the live webinars or view the recording.

REGISTER FOR NIH WEBINARS

While you may participate in or view recordings of any of the NIH webinars, it is recommended to participate in the entire series, including the small group discussions, as the material relates and concepts will be developed throughout the series. Participants who attend all six small group meetings and complete the evaluation survey of this pilot program will be awarded a certificate of completion by the NIH.

Optional Small Group Discussion Sessions

Then, if you are interested in engaging in further discussion on one or more of the topics, you can register for small group discussion sessions facilitated by Drexel University faculty and professional staff (virtual via Zoom). Participants are expected to watch each of the webinars and journal or reflect upon the resilience tools and strategies presented prior to the small, confidential group discussions in the following week.

If you are interested in one or more of the small group discussions, please complete the interest form linked below to receive more information and links to register via Zoom:
