Exploring Internships

Internships are a great way for recent graduates to gain valuable professional experience in a field of interest.

While traditionally thought of as an opportunity for undergraduates, recent graduates can greatly benefit from internship experiences as well. The variety of opportunities for internships after graduation is extensive.

  • Idealist.org – Internships in nonprofit organizations.
  • The Carter Center – The organization founded by President Jimmy Carter that is guided by a fundamental commitment to human rights and the alleviation of human suffering.

  • Going Global includes internship opportunities abroad. To access this website, go to DrexelOne. Choose the Co-op+Career Services tab, then find the link under the Career Services channel. 
  • NASA DEVELOP – National program for research.
  • PATHWAYS – Internship and entry-level job opportunities in the federal government for recent graduates.
  • The Smithsonian Institute
  • Campus Philly – A nonprofit organization that encourages college students to live and work in the Greater Philadelphia tri-state region.
