I. PURPOSE AND APPLICATION

This policy supports the University’s efforts to minimize institutional risk by aligning registration and enrollment in Cooperative Education with the process for course enrollment (including deadlines) at the university.

II. SCOPE

This policy applies to all undergraduate and graduate students at Drexel University. 

III. IMPLEMENTATION

Implementation of this policy is the responsibility of the Steinbright Career Development Center and the Office of the Provost. For inquiries regarding this policy, please contact the Office of the Provost at provost@drexel.edu

IV. STATEMENT OF POLICY AND PROCEDURE

  1. Statement of Policy
    In order to participate at any level in a Course or a Cooperative Education Experience, a student must be officially Registered in the course. Participation in a course or cooperative education without official registration does not constitute a valid reason for the late addition of a course or cooperative education experience.

  2. Purpose and Application
    Students should register for courses and cooperative education in a timely manner and make all adjustments during the official add/drop period of the term. Attendance and participation in courses and cooperative education requires official registration.

This policy as the Course Enrollment policy was approved on 3/10/2016 and was effective from 9/6/16 until 8/22/22. This revision to the Course Enrollment policy become effective 8/23/22.
