Purpose and Application

Academic advising interaction notes are considered part of the academic record at Drexel. Advising notes are a critical part of student interaction with academic administration at Drexel.

Statement of Policy

Academic and Career Advisors must record advising interaction notes in the official advising system of record, Advisor Visit Tracking (AVT). Notes for all interactions where the advisor is functioning in an advising capacity are required.

Student interactions must be created, recorded, and saved within the official system of record within 48 hours of the interaction.
