The Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) advances the art and science of teaching.
Since its launch in 2019, the Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) at Drexel University has served a vital role in advancing pedagogy and enriching the student learning experience. With academic transformation goals driving change, the TLC is well positioned to support faculty by equipping them with confidence and agency to implement effective teaching practices that foster student success. In addition to our central focus on evidence-based teaching, in the years to come the TLC will continue to play several other key roles within the institution, including:

Fostering interdisciplinary communication and collaboration;

Supporting programs in the adoption of teaching practices required by accrediting bodies;

Enhancing the visibility of teaching at Drexel through research and scholarship;

And, advocating for resources, policies, and programs at Drexel that support effective pedagogy and prioritize faculty well-being and autonomy.
