The President’s Cabinet recently ratified the University’s revised HIPAA Privacy Policy Set, which is composed of 46 policies addressing the HIPAA HITECH Omnibus Rule, patients’ right of access, the merger of the College of Medicine into Drexel University, and the recent change in ownership of Hahnemann University Hospital into American Academic Health System.
