AI Companies Say They’re Actually Looking Forward to Government Regulation in the Form of a New Safety Consortium

Drexel’s participation in the U.S. Department of Commerce’s AI Safety Institute Consortium was mentioned in a Feb. 28 Technical.ly story. Researchers from the College of Engineering, College of Computing & Informatics and College of Arts and Sciences will contribute to consortium’s efforts to establish safety standards and practices for the development and use of AI technology.
