Scientists Find Ghostly Neutrino Particles From the Milky Way

Naoko Kurahashi Neilson, PhD, an associate professor in the College of Arts and Sciences, was quoted in June 30 Astronomy and Smithsonian Magazine and July 1 Cosmos (Australia) stories about research she and former Drexel PhD students led at the IceCube Neutrino Observatory which produced a unique neutrino-based image of the Milky Way Galaxy using particles of matter instead of the usual electromagnetic energy.
