ACIP Backs ‘Enhanced’ Flu Vaccine for Seniors

Sarah Long, MD, a professor in the College of Medicine, was quoted in a June 23 MedPage Today article about the CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices unanimously endorsing a group of influenza vaccines thought to provide better protection for older adults, as well as a new pneumococcal vaccine for children, and an additional measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine.
