Matthew McCarthy, PhD, an assistant professor in the College of Engineering, was mentioned in a July 9 Wireless Design & Development magazine story about thermal management in technology. McCarthy’s research uses viruses as templates for building heat-transfer surfaces that aid the efficient production of steam.
