For gay and lesbian parents, equality is a myth when it comes to custody cases

A new review revealing that LGBT parents face bias in the courts during custody disputes was featured in The Guardian and on WHYY-Newsworks.org on April 21. The review was conducted by Kirk Heilbrun, PhD, a professor in the College of Arts and Sciences, and Emily Haney-Caron, a third-year JD/PhD candidate in Drexel’s joint program in psychology and law in the College of Arts and Sciences and School of Law, who were both quoted.
