A driver’s side mirror with a wide field of view and minimal distortion, invented by Dr. R. Andrew Hicks, a professor in the College of Arts and Sciences, was featured in news stories for receiving a U.S. patent. Coverage appeared on sites including The Verge, Gizmodo, UPI, Smart Planet (CBS Interactive), and DVICE (SyFy network).
