Dr. R. Andrew Hicks, a professor in the College of Arts and Sciences, was featured in news stories on CNN.com, Yahoo! Autos, The Daily Mail, CNET.com and other outlets for his newly patented invention of a minimally distorting driver's side mirror with a wide field of view that eliminates the blind spot.
