Drexel Ranked on Forbes Best-in-State Employers Second Year in a Row

Drexel University has been recognized within the Forbes list of 100 Best Employers by State 2023.

This prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider, and is based on an independent survey of approximately 70,000 Americans working for companies with more than 500 employees in the United States. This is the second consecutive year that Forbes has featured Drexel on the list.

The evaluation for Forbes’ ranking was based on direct and indirect recommendations from employees who were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family. Employees were also asked to evaluate other employers in their respective industry and state that stood out either positively or negatively and give their opinions on a series of work-related statements. Across numerous industry sectors, 1,392 employer brands were ranked among the top employers for 2023.

“To receive this award the past two years is an honor,” said Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Megan Weyler. “The University strives for excellence and continuous improvement by building out its comprehensive benefits package, fostering equity, inclusion and belonging, and remaining civically engaged, year after year.”
