Return to Campus: COVID-19 Student Training and Pledge

The following message was sent to Drexel students on July 31:

Dear Drexel Dragons,

As we prepare to return to campus, it is of the utmost importance that all members of the Drexel community remain informed, diligent, and prepared. Together, we can take the necessary steps to ensure the health and safety of both ourselves and our fellow Dragons. We ask that all community members continue to monitor their health on a daily basis and to pay close attention to any changes they may observe. To learn more about COVID-19 and what to do if you experience any potential symptoms, visit Drexel's Response to Coronavirus page.

In order to further lay the groundwork for our safe return, we continue to develop and implement new protocols that will serve to set clear expectations and further protect the members of our campus community. To make sure our Dragons fully understand campus procedures, guidelines, and the role they play in protecting those around them, all Drexel students, faculty, and professional staff will be required to complete mandatory online health and safety training courses. New and returning students will take our COVID-19 Student Training course, which contains important information and instructions regarding campus protocols, and will be required to sign the online Dragon Pledge. By taking The Dragon Pledge, we commit to maintaining a culture of health and safety on campus and acknowledge our shared commitment to take the critical, proactive measures that will keep our University community safe. The COVID-19 Student Training & Pledge is currently available to semester students and will be made available to quarter students at the start of next week; students will be able to access this item via their DrexelOne checklist and should remain mindful of their specific deadline for completion.

As always, you can learn more about the steps the University is taking to ensure our community's safety at Drexel's Response to Coronavirus page. This site is constantly updated with the latest developments regarding our return to campus, and we encourage you to visit it often to make sure you remain up to date.

Sincerely,

Subir Sahu, PhD
