The following message from Drexel President John Fry about winter break was sent to Drexel faculty and professional staff:
It is a source of great pride for me to share in the outstanding work and commitment of our faculty and professional staff, especially as we face the enormous challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic. But we all need time to rest and refresh, so I'm pleased to announce that Drexel will begin its winter break early this year.
The University will close at the end of the day on Tuesday, December 22, and reopen on Monday, January 4. Clinical site personnel and those involved in critical research should check with their supervisors regarding their schedules for that week.
Once again, thank you for all that you do to make Drexel a vibrant, thriving center of learning, discovery and civic engagement.
I wish you and your family a joyous and restful time and look forward to returning after the break to work together, recharged for a new year.
Sincerely,
John Fry
President
