What’s the only thing better than one day of Homecoming celebrations? A whole week’s worth, which is exactly what Drexel Dragons got last week — an entire week to come together as a campus, share in some school pride and, most importantly, have some fun. From the bonfire kickoff to the basketball comeback, it was a great week to be at Drexel University.
There was a week’s worth of events all around campus, from the Battleship competition in the DAC pool to a variety show and quizzo, all culminating in a weekend sweep of Northeastern University for the men’s and women’s basketball teams. The men closed the game on a 7-0 run to come from behind and beat the Huskies 68–67, while the women held off a late run by Northeastern to come away with a 58–50 win.
It’ll be a long wait until Homecoming returns next year, but in the meantime take a spin through the slideshow below to catch some photos from the past week.
