As previously reported in DrexelNow, the available apartments are junior one-bedrooms (bedroom is open-loft style), one-bedroom (bedroom has a barn-like sliding door) and two-bedroom residences. All living spaces have nine-foot-tall ceilings and full-height windows overlooking Center City and West Philadelphia.
The 176,000-square-foot, $56 million project built on Drexel-owned land features many amenities on site and within the 164 apartments and Nobel Learning Communities preschool. A rooftop deck completed in August will have landscaping ,a fire pit and outdoor cooking facilities, along with a stunning view of Center City. On the top floor, there will also be a community room with a fully equipped kitchen as well as a billiards and game room. On lower levels, there will be a conference room, think space and lobby gathering areas; a fitness center; and a secure parking garage under the building at ground level. Though not accessible, the roof of the 16-story building will be a green roof to increase the building’s sustainability efforts.
Vue32 is also home to an on-site Chesterbrook Academy preschool accommodating children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age. Opening in August on the tower’s first two floors, the school will be leased by Nobel Leaning Communities, the fifth-largest private childcare organization in the country.
