On the heels of the University’s 125th anniversary this year is an important milestone for Drexel Magazine as well: five years of sharing stories of the amazing accomplishments of our inspiring and impressive young alumni. The class of 2017 will mark 200 stories of high-achieving alumni using their Drexel degrees as a springboard to impact the world locally, nationally and across the globe.
Now through Sept. 2, Drexel Magazine is accepting nominations for outstanding alumni for its fifth annual 40 Under 40 edition. Last year’s issue featured a trio of daring entrepreneurs, a star Philadelphia chef, a sharp social media guru, and a CEO who served as a United States Air Force flight surgeon.
Two hundred stories may seem like a lot. But we know it’s only the beginning. What’s your story?
Nominations are being sought through Sept. 2. Alumni may also self-nominate.
To be eligible, nominees must be 39 years old or younger as of March 1, 2017, and they must have received a degree from Drexel.
Applications must include the nominee’s age, Drexel degree and a high-resolution image of the nominee, plus an essay on why the person deserves to be honored. Nominees will be evaluated based on their personal and professional achievements, awards and recognitions, and involvement in the community or advocacy.
Submit your nomination online by Sept. 2.
