Drexel Magazine's 40 Under 40: Who Inspires You?
Every fall, Drexel Magazine editors face a tough challenge: Whittle down a list of hundreds into just a few dozen who will make up the next class of 40 Under 40 honorees.
Obviously, they look for achievement. They look for accomplishment. Just as important, they look for individuals who inspire them and who inspire others.
Now through mid-September, Drexel Magazine is accepting nominations for outstanding alumni for its fourth annual 40 Under 40 edition. Last year’s issue featured a chef for a prestigious restaurant, a drummer for a popular rock band, an inventor with a hot idea. One is working to solve America’s nuclear waste problem. Another hunts extraterrestrial microbes for NASA.
There are countless fascinating alumni out there. Tell us your story.
Nominations are being sought through Sept. 11. Alumni may also self-nominate.
To be eligible, nominees must be 39 years old or younger as of March 1, 2016, and they must have received a degree from Drexel University. In addition, editors will be looking for evidence of professional success and community involvement.
Applications must include the nominee’s age, Drexel degree and a high-resolution image of the nominee, plus an essay on why the person deserves to be honored. Nominees will be evaluated based on their personal and professional achievements, awards and recognitions, and involvement in the community or advocacy.
Submit your nomination online by Sept. 11.
