    What: David Elkins, vice president and chief financial officer of AstraZeneca North America and a 1995 graduate of Drexel University LeBow College of Business MBA program, will address what differentiating factors make the pharmaceutical industry a career industry of choice.In addition, Elkins will provide an overview of the career options available in pharmaceuticals and discuss the current challenges and opportunities surrounding the industry as well as its future. When: Wednesday, May 21, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Where: Drexel's Pearlstein Business Learning Center (32nd and Market Streets)Background: David Elkins is a member of AstraZeneca’s U.S. Leadership Team and has responsibility for all finance, information technology and investor relations matters in North America. He is also a member of the board of directors for MedImmune Inc., a subsidiary of AstraZeneca. His experience outside of AstraZeneca includes Sr. Director of Corporate Strategy and Development at Unisys where he led the business development function.
