"Food Insecurity" Zine Project

The CIVC 101 instructor for this class had her students make "zines" as the final assignment for their social issue project. "Zines" are self-published booklets usually made using simple materials. They are often used by activists due to their accessible nature and the sense that they are an alternative to published materials made for profit. To learn more about Zines and their connection to activism and civic engagement, this is a good resource.
