Co-op Application Instructions
Please access the Kline Co-op | Students SharePoint site to view positions and submit your application.
Once you are on the site,
- click on the toggle “View Positions & Descriptions” to view the master list of all potential open positions. The list is filterable by partner name, type of placement, practice area, paid vs. unpaid, etc.
- click on the toggle “Fill out your Co-op Application” to submit your application. The application asks you to upload your resume, writing sample, and unofficial transcript in .pdf format so make sure that you gather all these materials before starting the application.
Please note that even if you plan to create your own co-op (and do not intend to participate in the matching process), you must still submit an application for record-keeping purposes. Additionally, please be aware that all organizations that wish to host a co-op student must first obtain approval from me. The vetting process takes some lead time, so please be sure that you secure your co-op and apply a semester in advance.
Co-op Conference
The matching process includes a co-op conference and provides an opportunity for you to express your interests and goals and ask any questions you might have about the application and interview processes. Once I review your application, Prof. Parambath will be in touch to schedule the conference. This way, I will have the opportunity to review your application materials before our meeting.
Your Action Items to Apply for Co-op
- Obtain an updated unofficial transcript from Drexel One. Your transcript should include your Fall 2025 semester grades.
- Update your resume
- Polish your writing sample. Select a short sample (5-10 pgs.), or an excerpt of a larger sample, that is relevant to your area of interest and/or you consider to be your best work product.
- Submit your co-op application.
- Attend a co-op conference. Prof. Parambath will reach out to schedule a conference after I review your application.
- Attend a co-op interview. Donna Duggan will notify you of interview requests.
If you have any questions about any of the information in this message, please don’t hesitate to contact Prof. Parambath (reena.e.parambath@drexel.edu).
