The Brief Is Moving on March 2
February 23, 2026
On Monday, March 2, The Brief will move to a new digital home in SharePoint (where DragonNet is located): https://drexel0.sharepoint.com/sites/Law-TheBriefNewsletter/
This update will help streamline and improve the publishing process for student-facing announcements, events and funding opportunities.
Timely content on the old site will be re-published in SharePoint ahead of the move.
How to Submit an Item for Publication in The Brief, Starting March 2
- Faculty and Staff: Faculty and staff should submit announcements, events, writing competitions, funding opportunities, etc. using the appropriate form on The Brief SharePoint site. A draft of your post will be created automatically and published after review and approval by the Marketing & Communications Office. While Emily Baker is on leave, Purnell Cropper (ptc44@drexel.edu) will manage the publishing process.
- Note: The form will allow you to add a file to your post.
- Student Org Events: No change. Student organizations should continue to follow the current process, using the Event Request Portal. If you include a publicity request, details about your event will flow into The Brief SharePoint site once your event is approved by Mallory Heller, director of facilities and events. The draft will be reviewed and published by the Marketing & Communications Office.
Weekly Reminders
We’ll continue to send reminder emails at the start of the week prompting you to visit The Brief SharePoint site for the latest updates.
We appreciate your cooperation and flexibility during this transition. Thank you for your support in keeping The Brief running smoothly.
Best regards,
The Drexel Kline Marketing & Communications Office
