Applying for Financial Aid


The JD tuition for the 2022-2023 academic year is an annual flat rate of $50,700. Scholarship was awarded based on this anticipated tuition increase. Changes to tuition will be approved by the Drexel Board of Trustees in March. Please check your financial aid account for updates.

The per credit fee for the 2022-2023 school year for Master's Programs:

  • Semester-based Programs: $1,690/credit
  • Quarter-based Programs: $880/credit


Law students are required to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to be evaluated for federal aid eligibility. Federal aid available to law students is limited to federal loans and work study. A FAFSA is not required to be considered for merit scholarships. 

Drexel Central provides detailed information on the entire financing process and details your financing options. Just remember to include Drexel's federal ID number, 003256, when filing.

Students starting in the summer term must submit 2 FAFSAs. One for the current academic year for summer loans, and one for the upcoming academic year for fall loans.
