Applying for Financial Aid

Tuition & Fees

The JD tuition for the 2026-2027 academic year is estimated to be an annual flat rate of $58,710. Each semester, there is a general fee of $420 and a program fee of $480.

Tuition amounts for the 2026-2027 academic year will be approved by the Board of Trustees soon. Scholarships are awarded based on anticipated annual tuition increases. You can view tuition costs on the Drexel Central Drexel Kline School of Law Tuition and Fees page.

FAFSA

Law students are required to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to be evaluated for federal aid eligibility. Federal aid available to law students is limited to federal loans and work study. A FAFSA is not required to be considered for merit scholarships.

Drexel Central provides detailed information on the entire financing process and details your financing options. Remember to include Drexel's federal ID number, 003256, when filing.

Students starting in the summer term must submit two FAFSAs — one for the current academic year 2025-26 for summer federal aid, and one for the upcoming academic year 2026-27 for federal aid beginning in the fall 2026.
