El proyecto SALURBAL-Clima (parte de la red SALURBAL) realizará dos evaluaciones de impacto en salud para analizar intervenciones urbanas que mitiguen el calor extremo. Una de ellas es el Proyecto RUCAS, el cual se lleva a cabo en Chile evaluando el Plan de Arbolado Urbano del Gobierno Regional Metropolitano, bajo la dirección de la Escuela de Salud Pública de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
