One Service Unit (SU) is equivalent to one requested core-hour. E.g. a job requesting 16 slots which runs for one hour consumes 16 SUs.

Hosting
Requirements for hosting hardware in the URCF:
- In good working order
- Rack-mountable; PI must provide rails. The rails must fit standard 19" EIA-310 racks.
- Linked to a PI
- Linked to a Drexel fund number

Fair Share Allocations On Picotte
The Drexel Cluster consists of a login node and compute nodes, interconnected by both standard and fast networks. The rationale in offering this resource is to free researchers from the need to purchase entire clusters and instead focus their equipment resources on compute hardware and to avail them of the systems administration services the Cluster requires.

Picotte User Accounts
The University Block of Picotte is available to Drexel faculty and students to run batch jobs. The job scheduling software is configured to allow the fairest allocation of compute time across all Picotte users, and no hard limits on compute time are currently in place.
