Mandell Theater Venue Information

Mandell Theater, located in the Creese Student Center on Chestnut Street between 32nd and 33rd streets on Drexel's University City Campus, is an indoor, air-conditioned facility, where specific college and school ceremonies take place. Please use precaution when determining guest attendance and refer to the accessibility information for this venue. 

Ticketing and Arrival

Graduates are guaranteed to receive up to four (4) tickets for guests to attend their college or school ceremony. Learn more about ticketing.

Guest Expectations

The following items are not permitted at the Mandell Theater:

• Balloons, signs, posters, banners, and flags of any size (anything that will obstruct views of other guests)
• Weapons
• Selfie sticks
• Food and beverages
• Noisemakers

Accessibility

Specific tickets are not required, nor available, for accessible seating. Guests with disabilities will be directed to the limited accessible seating at the Mandell Theater. Visit Drexel Commencement Accessibility Accommodations for further information. 

All college and school ceremonies will be also live-streamed on individual ceremony pages of this Commencement site.

Directions and Parking

Note that Mandell Theater is located approximately two city blocks from Drexel's Parking Garage (34th and Ludlow streets).

Parking

Free parking will be available in Lot G and in the Drexel University Parking Garage at 34th and Ludlow Streets, entrance on Ludlow Street.

On-campus parking during Commencement is available on a first come-first serve basis. Please have your respective college or school ceremony tickets on hand to show to parking volunteers and attendants

Guest Drop-Off

Guests can be dropped off on the south side of Chestnut Street, at the light between 33rd and 32nd Streets.
