Academy of Music Venue Information

The Academy of Music is an indoor, air-conditioned facility, where specific college and school ceremonies take place. Note that entrance and seating are located on Broad Street, a main thoroughfare at the heart of the city of Philadelphia. Please use precaution when determining guest attendance and refer to the Accessibility information for this venue. 

Concessions will be available for purchase (including non-alcoholic beverages only).

Ticketing and Arrival

Graduates are guaranteed to receive up to four (4) tickets for guests to attend their college or school ceremony. Learn more about ticketing.

Guest Expectations

The following items are not permitted at the Academy of Music:

• Balloons, signs, posters, banners, and flags of any size (anything that will obstruct views of other guests)
• Weapons
• Selfie sticks
• Food and beverages
• Noisemakers

Paid parking is available in the Kimmel Center Garage at varying rates.

Guest Drop-Off

Guests can be dropped off at the main entrance on Broad Street and will be directed to the accessible entrance on the south side of the building. Visit Accessibility for further information on accessibility by venue.
