Wednesday, February 26, 2025
4 to 5 p.m. EST

Description: Whether you have never written an abstract before or you are looking to improve your writing skills, this pre-conference workshop will provide a model for abstract writing that can be adapted to meet the needs of various disciplines and projects, including for STEM and non-STEM fields. Students will be able to begin drafting an abstract—or work on an existing draft—during the session. Our facilitator and conference planning team will also be available to review abstracts in advance of submission for the conference.

Please note that some programs/departments/disciplines may have specific guidance on or requirements for abstract writing. This session is meant to provide general, interdisciplinary guidance in accordance with the requirements for submission to the annual Drexel Emerging Graduate Scholars (DEGS) Conference.

The deadline to submit an abstract for research or projects for the 2025 DEGS Conference is Monday, March 31.
