An Aug. 12 article for The Conversation co-authored by Laura N. Gitlin, PhD, Distinguished University professor and dean emerita of the College of Nursing and Health Professions, about her recent research on the identification of preventable dementia risk factors and how to address them at each stage of life to reduce dementia rates by nearly half was republished Dec. 29 by the Houston Chronicle and San Francisco Gate.
