Jonathan Deutsch, PhD, professor of culinary arts and sciences, was quoted in a May 24 Jewish Exponent article about Israeli food technology startups turning to the American market, specifically Philadelphia, to grow their business. The Food Lab, the culinary innovation lab in the College, was also mentioned as an inspiration for a similar project in Negev, Israel.
