RN Licensure

All students who hold a nursing license must have and maintain a current, unencumbered RN license. Licenses will be verified via CastleBranch.

All graduate nursing students must also obtain an RN license for any state in which they plan to complete clinical hours.

Nurse Practitioner Licensure Requirements

All Nurse Practitioner students are required to have a current, unrestricted state of Pennsylvania Registered Nursing (RN) license. In addition, all Clinical Nurse Practitioner students must also hold unrestricted RN licensure in the state they plan to attend clinical rotation. If a student plans to attend clinical rotation within the state of Pennsylvania, dual licensure must be acquired from a secondary state. All students must hold at least two active unrestricted RN licenses.
