Peter Lewin Receives IEEE UFFC Society 2024 Distinguished Service Award September 23, 2024 Peter A. Lewin, PhD, Richard B. Beard Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Biomedical Engineering, received the IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control (UFFC) Society 2024 Distinguished Service Award at the 2024 IEEE UFFC Joint Symposium, which was held September 22nd – 26th in Taipei, Taiwan. Dr. Lewin received the award for his exemplary service to promote the UFFC Society and his visionary contributions to enhance the reputation and quality of the Society’s Journal. Dr. Lewin was the Journal's editor-in-chief from 2019-2021 and was also a recipient of the IEEE UFFC 2019 Achievement Award.
