Bio

Dr. Stephen Dubin holds academic degrees in pharmacy, veterinary medicine, and biomedical engineering. After completing thesis work at Drexel under supervision of Dr. Hun Sun, of blessed memory, in 1967, Dr. Dubin served as a captain in the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps. Following military service, he returned to Drexel where he taught in the Biomedical Engineering program for more than 30 years. During that time Dubin also published numerous academic papers and advised M.S. and Ph.D. candidates. Dr. Dubin's research areas include cardiovascular and respiratory physiology, medical instrumentation and improvement of research models.

Since retirement, Dr. Dubin been busy in clinical practice, and development of instrumentation to help veterinary practitioners. Returning to the amateur radio hobby of his youth, he regained his original call sign, "W3UEC" and achieved the "Worked All States" and "DXCC" awards. He has done research in the area of antennas and counterpoise systems.
