Integrated Biomedical Engineering and Business (IBEB)

The Integrated MS degree in Biomedical Engineering and Business (IBEB) prepares engineering graduates to become future industry leaders. Offered by the School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems in collaboration with the LeBow College of Business and the Close School of Entrepreneurship at Drexel University, the IBEB offers early-career engineers a tech-savvy alternative to an MBA. The program provides participants with graduate level instructions in biomedical engineering, along with core classes in business including management, leadership, economics, communications and marketing. Participants can specialize in several biomedical areas of interest, and gain professional experiences via a 3-6 months co-op/internship during which they will develop multifaceted and transferable skillsets of managers and technology entrepreneurs. Students will be paired with corporate mentors for advising and career guidance to ensure professional success upon graduation. Individuals with all undergraduate engineering backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
