SPH Receives NIH Disparities Education Grant

(Philadelphia, PA) – The Drexel University School of Public Health today announced the creation of its “Opening the Doors for Diverse Populations to Health Disparities Research” science education program, which is designed to increase the number of health disparities researchers by providing educational and mentored research opportunities for students.

Dr. Craig Newschaffer, a professor and department chair at the School of Public Health, will be featured on a special, six-part series on autism that will from April 18 - 26, 2011.  Dr. Newschaffer is slated to appear on the April 20, 2011 program about the causes of autism.
