As the Executive Director for Finance and Administration, Kenneth Munroe is responsible for providing operational leadership to the Financial and Administrative Services Team, which manages all facets of finance and grants administration, human resources, and IT services for the institute. He oversees the development and implementation of the institute’s long-term financial planning strategy. As a member of the leadership team, he advises the Institute Director and other program/core leaders in the execution of the institute’s mission and strategy as well as its research, clinical and outreach initiatives.

Kenneth brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the areas of organizational strategy, process improvement, human capital management, and financial planning and analysis. He is also a proponent of leadership development and cross-cultural collaborations.

Prior to joining AJDAI, Kenneth held senior management and leadership roles at the University of Pennsylvania Health System and Temple University in the areas of finance, operations and administration. Early in his career, Kenneth spent time in Australia where he worked in the financial services industry.

A lifelong learner, Kenneth holds a Master of Business Administration in accounting from Temple University’s Fox School of Business, a Master of Science in organization development & leadership from Saint Joseph’s University, and a Bachelor of Arts in sociology & anthropology from Swarthmore College. He is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant in PA.
