Research Takes Priority
Dr. Nasser and her research group are currently collaborating with Dr. Kurtulus Izzetoglu, School of Biomedical Engineering on a number of studies utilizing the fNIR technology to examine the response to food and nutrients in obese humans.
Dr. Jennifer Quinlan, Assistant Professor of Nutrition Sciences, CNHP and Dr. Shivanthi Anandan, Associate Professor, Dept. of Biology, published the paper “Quality of Food Available to Populations of Differing Socioeconomic Status” in the American J. of Preventive Medicine. (May 2010).
