Continuing Professional Education
The Center for Hospitality and Sport Management offers continuing professional education for individuals that wish to increase their knowledge and skills through innovative and unique courses and training programs. All of the offerings are designed to promote lifelong learning and personal and professional growth in their respective fields.
The Center for Hospitality and Sport Management is offering the following continuing professional education programs:
ServSafe Food Safety
Drexel University offers the 16-hour National Restaurant Association ServSafe program, which includes eight hours of classroom time and eight hours of home study. The course is recognized locally and nationally by the food safety training industry.
Food and Wine Pairing
The Center for Hospitality and Sport Management will be offering the course, Food and Wine Pairing for beginners. Students will begin by learning how to taste wine and then continue to the theory and practice of pairing food and wine. The course will include practical tastings combining wine with cheese, dessert, sauces and a multiple-course dinner.
