The Climate & Sustainability team coordinates a set of exciting programs that animate the core of Drexel’s sustainability strategy:

• We participate in the STARS institutional sustainability metrics and ratings program to measure how we are doing.
• We have launched Drexel’s first climate action plan process in Fall 2022, a broadly participatory process that will create Drexel’s implementation plan for a more sustainable institution.
• We host a Climate Case Competition series. This high-impact program for students challenges participants to create unique solutions to sustainability-related problems and opportunities.
• We collaborate with Student Life to present Drexel’s annual EarthFest, our Earth Day celebration.
• We coordinate Drexel’s participation in the Campus Race to Zero Waste, which we pursue as an electronics recycling initiative.
