Drexel University celebrates Earth Day and the University's commitment to environmental sustainability with its annual EarthFest. This year's block party-style celebration will be held along Lancaster Walk, west of 33rd Street, and has the theme of circularity (practices that optimize resource use and minimize waste across the entire production and consumption cycle, emphasizing sustainability and economic efficiency). This annual event showcases University stakeholders, local businesses and organizations with "green" initiatives. EarthFest is free and open to the University community.

This event includes:

• Games, prizes and giveaways;
• Free food;
• Sustainable banking options;
• Sustainability-oriented student organizations;
• Representatives from local businesses and restaurants;
• Research, information and demonstrations from organizations and institutions focusing on sustainability; and

The Drexel Writing Festival is a literary experience for everyone – scheduled events are always free and open to the public. We encourage you to join us for lively discussions, readings, and hands-on workshops across wide-ranging genres and topics.

USGA (Undergraduate Student Government Association), Drexel EcoReps and Climate & Sustainability are hosting Civic x Earthfest 2025 on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025 from 11:00 to 1:00. This years event will be themed around Circularity. Location is Lancaster Walk west of 33rd street outside of the Rush Garden. Rain date will be April 24th.

The Drexel Symposium on Urban Futures will engage participants in cross-disciplinary topics such as urban sustainability, community development, public policy, design equity and the impact of technology on urban spaces.
