Drexel Buy Nothing Depot

Students browsing the Drexel Buy Nothing Depot shelves

Created by the Climate & Sustainability team and EcoReps, the Drexel Buy Nothing Depot is a free supply exchange program for the Drexel community aimed to both divert still-useful office products from landfill and help reduce University spending on office and school supplies. The program collects and gives away supplies* such as pens, pencils, Post-It notes, tape, standard-sized binders, printer paper, markers and folders. Dragons can retrieve items from the Buy Nothing Depot for either work or personal use.

Where and When Can I Visit the Buy Nothing Depot?

The Buy Nothing Depot’s inventory is open for browsing to the Drexel community every Wednesday from 1-4 p.m. in the PSA Building (3240 Powelton Avenue), Room 103; it is closed during finals and University break weeks. Call or text 267.441.9030 when you arrive to be let into the building, as PSA is locked to all but those who have offices there.

How Do I Donate Items?

Email sustainability@drexel.edu with a list of supplies you have to donate. We will set up a time to come to your location to review what you have.

What’s Available Now at the Depot?

Drexel Climate & Sustainability updates the inventory weekly via SharePoint. Feel free to check out this resource ahead of time to see if we have something you need!

*Please note that Buy Nothing Depot cannot accept: furniture, printers, binders except small quantities or 1” or 1.5”, hanging files, used toner/ink, large quantities of unused toner/ink, damaged/dirty items.
