Teaching Resources for Faculty

Connect With Us for Course Projects

The Climate and Sustainability team can be a partner in creating opportunities for course assignments and projects. Our reporting for AASHE STARS is data-intensive and we update our reporting annually. We welcome faculty to explore ideas with us for how students might engage with this data. The Climate Action Plan process for Drexel likewise offers rich opportunities for linking with project-based courses and we are eager to engage with faculty and students in designing pieces of the plan.

Sustainability Course Attribute

Drexel makes a course attribute available for courses that have a clear sustainability focus. We encourage academic departments to make use of the attribute to help students identify these courses by working with the Registrar’s Office to add the attribute.

Community-based and Community-engaged Learning Instructor Training

The Lindy Center for Civic Engagement offers a community-based and community-engaged pedagogy workshop for faculty who want to explore this realm of pedagogy. Find more detailed information on the Lindy Center's website.
