Jen has had several roles at Drexel since 2002, including managing the Drexel Engineering Cities research initiative and serving as the founding director of the Dornsife Center for Neighborhood Partnerships. She works on linking Drexel’s sustainability agenda with the anchor mission to create local economic impact. With a background in STS – Science, Technology and Society –Jen has published about Drexel’s civic engagement and anchor mission and she additionally pursues a human-animal studies research agenda focused on wild horses and burros. As a wild horse photographer in her free time, she lends her volunteer efforts to wild horse and burro advocacy, with the Assateague Island Alliance and the Wild Horse Photography Collective. Jen lives in Philadelphia’s Fairmount neighborhood.
