Drexel Co-Op Interviews Innovative Women for Women in Journalism Series 

In a Lenfest Center-funded co-op position, Maddie Vassallo has been working on this newsletter celebrating some of the smartest and most innovative women working across local journalism, for The Lenfest Institute for Journalism. Executive Director and CEO Jim Friedlich said: “This series has been terrific. It looks great, reads very well and has informed and inspired while garnering a great deal of attention for the Institute. It’s both fun and noteworthy that it is the work of a Drexel Co-Op (Maddie) and a very newly minted Klein College grad (Kyra), each with superb multimedia content and production skillset well beyond the native acumen of their generation.
